Male Birthday Card

This card was made for a young man that I've never actually met. The young mans diagnosis is not a good one. He made a request to the public in our state, to receive birthday cards, LOTS of them for his birthday next month. Being that I don't actually know the young man, I just kinda had to guess what he would like. I figured motorcycles?? Doesn't all young men like motorcycles? I found the image on Google, printed it out on white cardstock. Cut it to size, and cut a piece of black card stock a little bit larger to put behind it. I attached it with foam tape. I colored it with Metallic Gel Pens. The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from a stamp. I stamped the saying then heat embossed it with white embossing powder, onto black cardstock. I cut it out using a pair of difficult to use scissors. I have no idea what they are called? They came in a bag, with about a dozen different ones, all of which are difficult to cut with. I have had them for probably about ten years though. Figured I would try them out for this. It came out....okay. I don't think I'll be using them again. The red paper is a red card stock that I got from Michaels, and the three metal embellishments I also got from Michaels. Okay onto the coolest part of this card...okay what I think is cool...the background!!! Diamond plate <3 This is actually a piece of vinyl! I have used it in a few cards before, and love the way it looks. I purchased it from https://expressionsvinyl.com/
but they no longer carry it. They are still my go to for most of my vinyl needs though. You can find the same type of vinyl I used on this card from this link though... https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Plate-Vinyl-Sheet-Simple/dp/B009WXK8MG?th=1

Mad Hatter Spray Paint Art

This piece of art I created to enter into a contest. The contest rules was you had to create something using Oramask 813 Stencil Film purchased from    https://expressionsvinyl.com/ . I didn't win the contest :'-( but had fun making this piece anyway. What I used was a piece of semi smooth wood approximately 24"x18". I purchased the wood at Home Depot. The silhouette of the Mad Hatter (The Johnny Depp version) I found online. I transferred the silhouette into my Silhouette program, traced it in the program, and cut it with my Cameo. The Wording at the bottom is one of the scripts that came with my Silhouette program. I also cut it out with my Cameo. I then weeded the whole thing....it took a lot of time, but I think was worth it. I weeded it backwards, so there would be no film in the areas that I wanted the design to show. The only stencil I left was the stencil in the negative areas. Reason being this was to be applied to the wood and spray painted. First I add...

Gorjuss Just For You Card

This card I made for a friend for her birthday. The beautiful image is one of my Gorjuss stamps, this one is Gorjuss Tweed Rubber Stamp - Waiting, and you can find it here http://www.markerpop.com/catalog/gorjuss-tweed-rubber-stamp-waiting.html  . I stamped her on white cardstock, and cut it to size. I then attached it to tan cardstock, and cut it a little bigger than the white. I colored the Gorjuss image with colored pencils. I used a white gel pen to add some light to her dark hair. The paper was from my scrap pile. The flower I cut using a flower design I found on the Silhouette store, and cut it with my Silhouette cameo. I secured the flower together with glue. The rest of the card I used double sided tape.  The center of the flower is a decorative pearl and below that is a butterfly. I purchased them both from Michaels. The wide white ribbon I purchased a long time ago from Walmart. The "just for you sentiment" is from an old stamp I had, but don...

Enjoy Every Moment Card - Santoro Gorjuss Stamp Sweet Tea

This is one of the two cards I created last night. The image is Santoro Gorjuss Stamp Sweet Tea. This was the first time I had used this stamp. The set came with quite a lot of very nice stamps, I highly recommend it. I colored her skin and hair with Copic markers. The remainder of the image I colored with Dick Blick markers and Gel Pens. The image was stamped onto a thick white cardstock, and then cut out with a flower die I purchased off of Wish.com. The small flowers at the bottom were also cut with a flower die set off of Wish.com. The sentiment and background paper came from a paper pad from Michaels. Its the Craft Smith, Blush Glam pad. It is absolutely beautiful. The sentiment I attached using foam tape, the paper and image I used double sided tape. The flower I used Scotch Scrap bookers Glue. The rope embellishment at the top is from Recollections. I attached it with double sided tape. The center of the flower is from Bead Landing, Sticky Gems.  Copic Hair Colors...
