Another Fathers Day card I made this year. This one was for my husband. I made it on a yellow blank card. For the background I used white card stock. I found an image of the tools on Google, and used it in my Silhouette program. I slightly etched the paper, then used the Silhouette pens to draw over the etch. Looks awesome in person, photo not so much. The two papers on top of that were some that I got at Michaels. The tools design on the front I also found on Google. I printed it up, and colored it using gel pens, the silver color sparkles!!! After that I hand cut it out (razor blade....lots of fun...o.k. not really, but it came out cute!) After the tools were colored and cut, I used gloss Modge Podge and painted over the whole tools image, and let it dry. I used some foam tape to attach the tools. For the wording I again used my Silhouette (LOVE MY SILHOUETTE!!!) I used red vinyl. I wasn't so sure about this card, but my husband ended up loving it.
This piece of art I created to enter into a contest. The contest rules was you had to create something using Oramask 813 Stencil Film purchased from https://expressionsvinyl.com/ . I didn't win the contest :'-( but had fun making this piece anyway. What I used was a piece of semi smooth wood approximately 24"x18". I purchased the wood at Home Depot. The silhouette of the Mad Hatter (The Johnny Depp version) I found online. I transferred the silhouette into my Silhouette program, traced it in the program, and cut it with my Cameo. The Wording at the bottom is one of the scripts that came with my Silhouette program. I also cut it out with my Cameo. I then weeded the whole thing....it took a lot of time, but I think was worth it. I weeded it backwards, so there would be no film in the areas that I wanted the design to show. The only stencil I left was the stencil in the negative areas. Reason being this was to be applied to the wood and spray painted. First I add...
